Fox is moving to a streaming service in the coming weeks, the network’s head of production, Dave Peppin, told investors Wednesday.
“We are going to have a live broadcast on the Fox News channel,” Peppen said.
“It’s going to be a live, on-demand service.
We’re not going to do live sports or the same kind of things that we do on TV.”
The announcement comes as Fox has been forced to deal with fallout from the firing of longtime Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly, who was accused of sexual harassment and assault.
A number of Fox News executives resigned after the allegations surfaced.
